For Battlefield V launch, we put our editorial team on full alert. Together with Electronic Arts Poland we did a huge non-standard promotional campaign of the new Battlefield, which included two contests and three video materials. The whole action was divided into two phases: during game beta and around the launch.
During the open Battlefield V beta, we invited our users to take part in the competition task consisting of recording the best and the most exciting action from the beta version of the game. A prize set containing an Xbox One X console, a 65” TV and Astro gaming headset went to the author of the winning video.
To celebrate the premiere we went a step further. Our editorial team took part in a professional photo session, being stylized for World War II soldiers. Specialist from the reconstruction group and the makeup artist worked on the proper battle image of the editors. We also invited our users to take a war-like photographs, and we uploaded photos of the winners in the gallery on the contest website. In this competition, we awarded the winners the Xbox One X console, 5 Logitech mice and gadgets with the BFV logo.
To promote both competitions, in addition to using advertising space, we prepared editorial content and reach out through our social media.
What is more, we published three video materials as part of an advertising campaign on YouTube. The shooting plan was a long distance shooting-range in Pawłów, where under the watchful eye of the experts we presented the most important aspects of Battlefield, such as: sniper shooting, destruction of the environment with a bullet, or the issue of cooperation and resuscitation in shooters.
